About Neha, LMFT
Relationship Therapist - Premarital Counselor - Sex Therapist
Thanks for being here, I’m Neha (she/her; Nay-ha). I’m a relationship therapist, premarital counselor, and sex therapist who strives to create an inclusive environment so people and couples of all backgrounds (including LGBTQIA+) can feel safe, supported, and free to be honest about their experiences. I specialize in working with individuals and couples who are motivated to increase emotional safety, rebuild trust, navigate life transitions (including dating coaching, premarital counseling, break ups and divorces), develop open communication and rebuild emotional and sexual intimacy.
In my work with individuals and couples, it’s extremely important to me to be culturally sensitive (knowledgeable, accepting and aware) to my client’s cultural identities. I understand and recognize that a person’s mental health concerns or needs are greatly influenced by cultural factors. As a South Asian American, I acknowledge the value behind feeling deeply understood by someone who can acknowledge parts of the cultural constructs embedded in who you are. I hope to create a space for you that allows you to be open, vulnerable and seen.
I aspire to advance racial equity within mental health spaces and entered this field to continue conversations around the stigma and shame that may surround people of color seeking therapeutic services.
I acknowledge with gratitude and respect that I practice on the tradition land of the Ute, Cheyenne and Arapahoe Peoples. I encourage you to know and participate in the on-going healing for Native communities.
